Only companies with the highest quality human resources initiatives can be named “Metropolitan Detroit’s 101 Best and Brightest Companies to Work For.” This honor is highly sought after by competing companies throughout the region. These select companies will be honored by the Michigan Business and Professional Association (MBPA) on Wednesday September 22 at the Marriott Dearborn Inn.

This year’s winners practice innovative strategies and represent best practices in human resources in industries as diverse as the automotive, insurance, hospitality, communications and nonprofit. (See the attached list of honorees.)

Eview 360, a full-service design firm, has received eleven major awards for its work in print, video and online media during the first half of 2010.

Eview 360 was recognized in the 31st Annual Telly Awards with the highest honor, a Silver Telly, for Manhattan Luxury Beat, a promotional video created for Manhattan Automobile Company.  Manhattan Luxury Beat also captured an award in the People’s Telly Awards presented by YouTube.  With nearly 11,000 entries from all 50 states and numerous countries, this year’s Telly Award has been one of the most successful and competitive in the long history of the Telly Awards.  It is a remarkable achievement to be selected for recognition.

Eview 360, a Michigan based international, award-winning design agency has received a 2009 Davey Award for the Eview 360 website.

The Eview 360 website conveys the company’s diverse experience and showcases projects that range from print campaigns, to complex web development and corporate and retail design. “The featured work showcased on our website demonstrates our team’s creativity and talent,” said Melissa Centra, Eview 360’s CEO. “Being recognized is an honor to our team members and our work.”

The Davey Awards is an international, creative award focused on honoring outstanding work from the best small firms worldwide.

Recognized with a 2009 Film/Video Award, the video creatively depicts how the company's extensive experience in design and technology translates customer brand strategies into cohesive marketing programs. Sponsored by the Edward Lowe Foundation, the “Michigan 50 Companies to Watch” award list recognizes high-performing, second-stage Michigan companies with six to 99 full-time employees. Only companies that are privately held, headquartered in Michigan and generate between $750,000 to $50 million in annual revenue (or working capital from investors or grants) are eligible.

“In today’s economy, Companies to Watch has become a real game changer,” said Penny Lewandowski, director of entrepreneurship development at the Edward Lowe Foundation, a nonprofit operating foundation based in Michigan. “It changes the conversation from slow-growth, layoffs and closings, to companies that are expanding, hiring and moving beyond traditional markets.
