The design of the M1 garage takes inspiration from clean, modern, cool, and industrial design methodologies while incorporating functionality to suit the client’s needs. Though this is a “car condo”, the vehicles take a backseat in the concept, allowing for the integration of atypical design solutions and programming.
Design Concept
The concept incorporates a wellness zone, for relaxation and exercise, as well as a full kitchen, functional office spaces, lounge, play area, and a unique take on “storage”. The finishes feel sleek and refined, with a sense of masculinity to provide the ultimate “professional man cave.”
M1 Concourse, located in Pontiac, MI, is an 87-acre playground for auto enthusiasts that includes the world’s largest community of Private Garages and a state-of-the-art 1.5-mile Performance Track with its own private Motorsports Club. M1 is a place where enthusiasts can keep, show and exercise their vehicles in the company of other enthusiasts and enjoy unforgettable experiences in a social setting unavailable to people who keep their cars at home or in a traditional storage facility.
